Record a GIF

While videos are a much richer medium and can be easily shared in most places online, sometimes you might want to record an animated GIF out of your composition. Popular usecase is a newsletter.

To start recording a GIF, simply click the button "GIF" below the canvas. Like with videos, this will turn the top bar red and will show an approximate countdown for when the recording will end.

Because GIF should be highly optimized in size, when you record an animated GIF you de-facto record a single animation loop.

Beatflyer uses a very good compressor to preserve quality but still have a relatively small file size. Just make sure the canvas dimensions are not larger than you need (to use custom canvas sizes, you need a paid plan).

Note: to be able to record a GIF your flyer shouldn't have any music added.
